Yesterday I found what I think is truly one of the most hysterical, ridiculous, yet utterly captivating television shows on right now.
The Real Housewives of New York City.
I have watched Real Housewives of Orange County and generally hated it. I have seen a few episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta and although I tolerated it, I never really bonded with it. But Real Housewives of New York City? Pure genius! Maybe it is because I’m a northerner, maybe it’s because I know a few of “those type” of women, and perhaps it is just because I love gossipy, elitist women.. who the heck knows, but I was hooked! With like 4 hours in a row on Bravo, I caught up on some of the lives of these six women – two of which I truly dislike – and I found it amazing that there are actually people who live like these women do. Big apartments in the city, even bigger houses in the Hamptons, too much free time, and mouths like truck drivers. My kind of show!
So, while I was laying in bed indulging my reality tv fix, what did you do this weekend?

I knew you would get hooked! They lead different lives than the OC girls, my favorite is Bethenny I just ADORE her, she cracks me up. Jill is my 2nd fave, Ramona is a nut and I love watching her go off. I cannot stand that damned Alex and her gayass husband, they make my skin crawl with their creepyness, Luann, yuck! I’m glad to have you to dish about the show with now!

Watched a couple of made for TV movies from Lifetime with mi chica, and basically I just lazy around except on Saturday. Saturday was a good day for me. Family and food.
We went up to Lancaster for a drive, checked out a huge ass pet store, and drove home. Sunday was visiting MIL in the hospital and making a pot roast for dinner.
I should have done wash and watched movies.
omg all the housewives are great! i dont love the new yorkers, mostly because i cant stand simon and alex, and their stupid kid francois, did you watch last season where they let him go to a dnner party and throw his hamburger at people? not to mention, the man wears speedos and pink shoes. i watch it though, cus, well I love TV! But those two give me the creeps
